Um... cool.

This is Luc Besson's post-production mixing room. He's the Writer/Director of the movie Fifth Element (my all time favorite movie). And the Writer/Producer of Transporter and Transporter 2 (another two favorites of mine). I'd say he's done well for himself.
Just thought it was worthy of a post. Bask in it's awesomeness.
Some people have tooo much money...
But I still wish I was one of them.
This Indy Racecar simulator is pretty sweet, but for $65,000 it ought to have seven flat panels surrounding the car... don'cha think?

Still, try getting that thing in your media room... then again, if you can afford $65k for that thing, you can build your own damn building to play it.
...way too much money... those bastards.

Immersion... sweeeeet....
I think we may have posted this before, but I'm too lazy to look through the past posts.
Elumens' Visionstation. Pretty cool thingy... it's basically a projector on a parabola. First-person shooter heaven I would think.
Hotdogs anyone?
At least we know what's in this one... Poodle.

Don't worry, it's not a microwave, it's a dog dryer... using Infrared. Beats sitting down with a towel and a hairdryer... but much more 'spensive.

Just a concept, but worthy of a post.
Peugeot's Concept, the Moovie.

Another 'lectric bike...
...cooler than most.

This is the ENV Bike. More of a motorbike/cycle, being that it gets up to 50 mph. And will soon have a Hydrogen fuel cell as well... nifty, eh? ...but needs a laser gun, rocket launcher, and a cold drink despener.

If I were into trains... I'd be sportin' this gizmo.

I'm not one to get excited about trains, but I do get excited over cool controllers. Like the Raildriver Train Cab Controller.

Handy Dandy Wrist Phone
... sorta thingy.

Can't make up my mind whether I like the Shoe Phone or this thing better.
Actually, it's not a phone at all, just a watch... those crazy Japs.

Cool Concept Bicycles

Specialized is a company playing with some new prototype bicycles.
Neat designs, kinda reminds me of those custom Pizza Cutters.
Warning: Objects are larger than they appear.
The new MTX JackHammer. A couple of these in your Mini Cooper and you'll be thumpin'! Actually, I don't these would fit in a Cooper... 22' Sub.

"Honey?, when's your friend Pamela sleeping over again?"
Not that I'd ever do that sort of thing... /evil grin/.
Spy Cams! Gotta love'm... or hate'm, depending on which side your on.
These look just like a screwhead or a button. Mount this thing on the side of a cabinet or dresser, or cute little teddy bear in the corner and you've got and extra set of eyes... or eye rather... being that there's only one.

Useful Search Tool...
Still seems kinda buggy, but functional... sorta, in a Japanse only kinda way.

Marsflag. Nothing to do with Mars nor a Flag... but how cares! Throws up screenshots of the webpages that match your search criteria.
To me, being the Proxy guy at work, this would be a useful option to offer to users of otherwise blocked sites. Many times the sites that are blocked are not offensive, just caught on categorization, such as "Personal Pages" or "Newsgroups"... you never know what those hooligans are goint to post. But most of the requested blocked sites, are personal pages for businesses... advertising and such. This site would allow the users to view the page in a small little window, so they know the page is either up, or showing content that is appropriate... and thus requesting to view the entire page. Save me alot of work... damn users.

The Keyboard... um, Keyboard thingy.

Not TOO impressive... but useful for us MIDI minded. And they also make a set of handy clips for the iPod Shuffle.
Panoramic mount.

This is a nifty little gadget... mounts on a normal tripod, connect your digital camera, and take panoramic photos... sorta. Not quite sure how it works and what all it does, the site, is in Korean. I guess it "helps" take a panoramic photo... but nifty.
IT'S ABOUT TIME!, someone using Hydrogen in their products.
The Aqueon Fireplace!
"The Aqueon operates by using regular tap water or perferable de-ionized water, which is supplied to the fireplace either through a pipe or from a storage tank within the unit. Using a 220 volt electrical service and a process called electrolysis, the Aqueon passes an electrical current through water to separate the hydrogen and oxygen. Upon separation, the Aqueon instantly ignites the hydrogen to create the flame. The Aqueon introduces the oxygen as a secondary source to add flame color and brightness, and releases the remainder of the oxygen into the room."
Idn't it? About time, that is... the Hydrogen thing... AND producing Oxygen! Damn cool eh? And they make normal ones too. But these are just too cool!

So where are the Laser Display Projectors

Red lasers are so passe, green lasers are the new thing, but did you know they have yellow and blue lasers now? Seems they ought to be able to put together a Red/Blue/Green laser thingy and have some cool new video gizmos.. eh?
LaserGlow.

One monitor, Two images... depending on the viewing angle.

Sharp has come out with an LCD monitor that is capable of displaying two images depending on your viewing angle.
One person can sit at a 45° angle and watch one show, while another person can sit at the opposing 45° angle and watch something else.
No more fighting over what show to watch.

Nifty implementation of OLED

This is just a prototype, but hopefully we'll see actual products soon.
OLED technology implemented on a keyboard. So actively changing keys depending on the application your using. Check out this page for some examples... you know Russian don't you?
